Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Invoke auditing from Format Control

- Open the audit specifications table.
- Add an audit specifications record.
- Define an audit specifications entry.
- Invoke auditing.

To invoke auditing from Format Control, perform the following steps:
- Create an Audit Specifications record for a particular file.
- Open the Format Control record associated with the form and the file for which you created the audit specifications record in step 1.
- Select the Save Copy option.
- Click Subroutines to display the Subroutines form.
The Subroutines panel opens. - Enter the desired format control. For this example, enter:
