Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Installation Prerequisites
The sections that follow list the prerequisites that need to be fulfilled to enable installation of OpsCx for OneView.

Ports Used by the OpsCx for OneView
The following table lists the ports that OpsCx for OneView uses by default. In your Operations Connector environment, these ports may not be used by other software applications.

Default port used for backsync from the Perl script to the GenInt generic plug-in, located on Operations Connector system. This port is used locally. |
If the OneView system and Operations Connector system communicate through a firewall, make sure that the port 443 is open.
If you cannot free the necessary ports in your environment, you can change which ports the connector uses. See Event Collection Options topic and Topology Collection Options topic on how to modify the default communication port.
