Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Installation Prerequisites
The sections that follow list the prerequisites that need to be fulfilled to enable installation of OpsCx for SAP Solution Manager.
Application Software
Before you install OpsCx for SAP Solution Manager, the following software applications must be installed and configured.

Operations Connector |
10.00 or later Operations Connector must be configured as a connected server in Operations Manager i. Service provider recommends that SAP Solution Manager and Operations Connector are installed on different host systems. For 10.11 version, to install the Ops Connector for SAP Solution Manager, run the following command:

TCP/IP Ports
The following table lists the ports that OpsCx for SAP Solution Manager uses by default. In your Operations Connector environment, these ports may not be used by other software applications.

If SAP Solution Manager and Operations Connector communicate through a firewall, make sure the firewall rules allow connections through the listed ports.
If you cannot ensure the default ports are free, you can still change the port numbers while configuring OpsCx for SAP Solution Manager. Keep in mind that changing the port numbers includes mandatory actions also in the third-party system management application or Operations Connector.

The following is a list of additional prerequisites and the requirements you must consider before installing the product:

Previous versions of OpsCx for SAP Solution Manager may not be installed on the Operations Connector host.

To be able to configure and administer OpsCx for SAP Solution Manager, familiarize yourself with Operations Connector and its user interface.
