Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.
Words and Phrases

Install
Before installing OpsCx for SAP Solution Manager, go through a list of the supported operating systems (Supported Operating Systems topic and consider the prerequisites (Prerequisites topic. Before you start with the installation process, familiarize yourself with the conventions listed in the table in this section.
Installation of OpsCx for SAP Solution Manager consists of several tasks. Complete them in the following order:

Obtain OpsCx for SAP Solution Manager and install it. See Installing BSM Connector for SAP Solution Manager topic.
- Install SAP NetWeaver RFC SDK Libraries. See Installing SAP NetWeaver RFC SDK Libraries topic.
OpsCx for SAP Solution Manager does not support upgrade scenarios. If you have a previous product version installed on the target host, remove it first. It is recommended that all relevant data is backed up prior to the removal.

The following placeholders are used in the instructions throughout this document. When performing the steps specify the actual value in place of each placeholder.

All paths in this document use slashes (/) as path delimiters except in contexts where the operating system specifics are stated. When performing the steps use the path delimiters that your operating system supports.
