Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Run Chef Recipe: Job Status
When you run the Chef Recipe job, the Job Status window provides summary information about its progress. You can also view the status of each action required to complete the job.

- The Job Status window will appear without any details until the job actually begins. When the job starts depends on the settings defined in the Scheduling step.
- If you set the job to run immediately, then the job will begin immediately after you click Start Job from any of the setting steps.
- When the job starts, the Job Status window will appear showing the progress of the job.
- To view the details of each action, select an action row in the table. The details for the selected action appear in the lower panel of the content pane.
- You can also perform any of the following optional actions:
- Click Back or Next to check job specification details.
- Click Close to close the window.
- If you scheduled the job for a later time, the job will run at the scheduled time and only then will the Job Status window show progress details.
- To view job status later, click Jobs and Sessions from the SA Client navigation pane, and then double-click on the job to view details.
