Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

ODBC Driver
You must install and configure ODBC Driver before using Crystal Reports for the following reasons:
- Some reports require the use of certain fields that are not mapped to the database such as
sysmodtime, etc. These fields get mapped as a blob so they cannot be seen directly from Crystal Reports. - ODBC Driver is used to keep consistency with reports created in earlier versions of Crystal Reports.
- Not all the users have SQL and sometimes there are issues refreshing the report with an ODBC pointing to a different database.
