A single word	`cat`	Topics that contain the word "cat". You will also find its grammatical variations, such as "cats".
A phrase. You can specify that the search results contain a specific phrase.	`"cat food"` (quotation marks)	Topics that contain the literal phrase "cat food" and all its grammatical variations. Without the quotation marks, the query is equivalent to specifying an OR operator, which finds topics with one of the individual words instead of the phrase.

Information Retrieval (IR) expert parameters: ir_disable

Parameter

ir_disable

Description

This parameter allows you to disable the IR keys on your existing HPE Service Manager system, so that the upgrade process runs faster.

Note After the application upgrade succeeds, you can enable the IR keys again by removing the ir_disable:1 entry from the sm.ini file.

The following table describes different system behaviors based on the value of this parameter.

Value	Description
1 or empty	The IR keys are disabled.
0	The IR keys are not disabled. Note By default, this parameter is not specified and value "0" is used.
