A single word	`cat`	Topics that contain the word "cat". You will also find its grammatical variations, such as "cats".
A phrase. You can specify that the search results contain a specific phrase.	`"cat food"` (quotation marks)	Topics that contain the literal phrase "cat food" and all its grammatical variations. Without the quotation marks, the query is equivalent to specifying an OR operator, which finds topics with one of the individual words instead of the phrase.

How to Modify CI Selector Display Options

You can modify the display options for the CI Selector. These options are configured in the Infrastructure Settings Manager.

Caution Modifying certain settings in the Infrastructure Settings Manager can adversely affect the performance of Universal CMDB. Do not modify settings without first consulting Micro Focus Software Support or your Professional Services representative.

Prerequisites

Access the Infrastructure Settings Manager by selecting Managers > Administration > Infrastructure Settings Manager.
Modify Selected Settings
The following settings can be modified:
- Immediate Children Count. Number of children immediately displayed when expanding their parent's query node in the CI Selector.
- Maximal Children Count. Maximum number of children displayed under their parent's query node in the CI Selector.
- Maximal search results size. Maximum number of CMDB instances that can be returned in one search operation.
- Recently Used Views List size. Maximal number of recently used views to store per user.
