Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Topics that contain the literal phrase "cat food" and all its grammatical variations. Without the quotation marks, the query is equivalent to specifying an OR operator, which finds topics with one of the individual words instead of the phrase. |

Filter CI Instances Dialog Box
This dialog box enables you to reduce the number of CI instances to be displayed in a list by selecting a condition and a value for a specific CI.

A description of the filter condition you defined appears above the table columns in the CI Instances dialog box. For example, the following illustration shows that a filter condition was created to display only CI instances whose CI type is Windows.

UI Element (A-Z) | Description |

Attribute | Displays all the attributes of the CI type to which the CI belongs. |
Condition | Select the required operator. For details, see Attribute Operator Definitions. |
NOT | Select to filter the results by the negation of a condition and value. |
Value | Select or enter the required value. |
