Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Install the Universal Discovery Agent with the Agent Driven Flow Enabled Using Discovery Jobs
This task describes how to install the Universal Discovery (UD) Agent with the Agent driven flow enabled using discovery jobs on remote machines.

Prerequisite

Add the IP address of the target machine to the IP Range of Data Flow Probe.
For Range information, see New/Edit Range Dialog Box.

Create or import a Universal Discovery Protocol.
For credential information, see "Supported Protocols" in the Supported Content section of the Content Help.

Enable the Agent driven flow
To enable the Agent driven flow, do the following:

In the Install UD Agent or Update UD Agent job, set the value of EnableAgentDrivenFlow parameter to true.
For details about the job parameter, see Discovery Modules section of the Content Help.

In the DataFlowProbe.properties file, set the value of com.hp.ucmdb.discovery.probe.agents.probemgr.agentdrivenflow.enabled to true. Then restart this Data Flow Probe.

Run discovery jobs
Run the following jobs in the following order:
- Range IPs by ICMP

Host Connection by Shell
- Install UD Agent or Update UD Agent
