Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Configure
Essential Configuration
Essential configuration of OpsCx for SAP Solution Manager consists of several tasks. Complete them in the following order:

Import an SAP transport into the SAP Solution Manager system.

Set up an SAP User. See Setting up an SAP User for the BSM Integration topic.

Run the SAP Solution Manager configuration tool.

Configure the event integration: set the event integration options, import the policy for SAP Solution Manager events into Operations Connector and activate it.

If OpsCx for SAP Solution Manager is used to integrate multiple types of SAP Solution Manager entities, you can combine specific steps from the otherwise separate configuration procedures. For example, you can import policies for all integrated entity types into Operations Connector at once, and you can review and activate them one after another.
Advanced Configuration
Advanced configuration of OpsCx for SAP Solution Manager is not mandatory. It includes the following tasks:

It is recommended thatadvanced configuration tasks are performed only by users with sufficient knowledge of SAP Solution Manager.
