Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Topics that contain the literal phrase "cat food" and all its grammatical variations. Without the quotation marks, the query is equivalent to specifying an OR operator, which finds topics with one of the individual words instead of the phrase. |

Application License Report
This report displays all the application instances detected in the system that require a license.

Select Managers > Modeling > Reports. In the Custom Reports pane, do one of the following:

Important information |
The top level of the report displays the number of application instances for each application, vendor, or related node, depending on the grouping option selected. This is based on the license type for each application as defined in the SAI files. In any layer, you can use the Select Columns button to select the attributes to display in the report. |

Group By |
Select the method for displaying the data. The available options are:

License Required |
For each application, vendor, or related node, displays the number of applications that require a license. Click the number to drill down and view the application instances. On the drill down screen, if the number in the Components column is greater than 0, then the selected application has licensing components. |
