Configure the BSM Health Indicator (for the Monitoring Widget)

To use the Monitoring widget (as described in Monitoring Widget), you perform the following configurations:

      • Integration name. BSM synchronization

      • Adapter. BSM

      • Hostname. BSM hostname

      • Port. BSM host port

      • Credentials. Choose ‘generic protocol’

      • Push Back IDs. Choose ‘enabled’

    3. Save the integration point and invoke synchronization.

    1. In UCMDB, go to Data Flow Management > Integration Studio.

    2. Create a new integration point with the following settings

  3. Specify Data Over Time settings:

    1. In BSM, go to Admin > Service Health.
    2. On the CI Indicators tab, select a view that contains one or more CIs with KPIs.
    3. Select one or more CIs in the upper pane (that have the KPIs you want to view in the Monitoring widget).
    4. In the CI Data pane at the bottom of the screen, select the Save KPI data over time for the selected CIs checkbox.
