What's New in Universal CMDB Browser 4.05

This release contains the following new features and enhancements:

  • Login update

The UCMDB Browser now has a new login page.

  • Discovery

Added the Discovery module in Administration Console, which enables you to view a list of probes connected to the server, and detailed information about them. For more details, see the Accessing the Administration Console for UCMDB Browser section in the Universal CMDB Browser Installation and Configuration Guide.

  • Get Related

Added the Get Related menu, which enables you to view, in map format, the CIs that are related to a selected CI. For more details, see the Search section in the Universal CMDB Browser User Guide.

  • Discovery Progress Widget Improvements

The primary focus of the Discovery Progress widget is making it easier for discovery administrators to manage the discoveries, to get better visibility to the progress of running discoveries, and to help troubleshoot the discoveries. Now, the discovery administrators can:

    • Access the Discovery Progress widget simply by clicking the CI's Discovery Indicator in Search and Reports modules.
    • Filter the triggered CIs that completed running (successfully or unsuccessfully).
    • View more detailed information for the selected triggered CI with an Error or a Warning status.
    • Rerun a discovery job.

    • Check the network availability for any of the IP addresses of a Node CI.

For more details, see the Discovery Progress Widget section in the Universal CMDB Browser User Guide.

  • UCMDB Server Version update

Starting with UCMDB Browser 4.05, the minimal UCMDB server version required is UCMDB 10.01. For details on supported versions, refer to the Universal CMDB Browser Support Matrix.
