Searching the Help

To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.

Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

View the details of a configuration item (CI) in CI Visualization

You can view the details of a CI by opening the detail record from CI Visualization.

To view the details of a configuration item in CI Visualization, follow these steps:

Click Configuration Management > Search CIs.
Use search or advanced search to find one or more records.
Select the CI with the details you want to view.
Open the Relationship Graph section. The CI Visualization diagram displays the relationships between the CI components and the current state of each item in the configuration.
Click on any node in the graph and select the View CI Details option. The detail record for that CI opens on a new tab.
Click OK to return to the CI Visualization diagram.
