A single word	`cat`	Topics that contain the word "cat". You will also find its grammatical variations, such as "cats".
A phrase. You can specify that the search results contain a specific phrase.	`"cat food"` (quotation marks)	Topics that contain the literal phrase "cat food" and all its grammatical variations. Without the quotation marks, the query is equivalent to specifying an OR operator, which finds topics with one of the individual words instead of the phrase.

If you work with BOE, you must install the Vertica Driver in the BOE Server (Windows/Linux) and in the BOE Client Server.

Install the Vertica Driver in the BOE Server

Get the Vertica JDBC driver from ITBA in the following directory:

$HPBA_HOME/glassfish/glassfish/domains/BTOA/lib/vertica-jdbc-7.1.1-0.jar
Copy the driver to the following location in the BOE server:

BOE on a Windows Server:
[BO_INSTALLATION_DIRECTORY]\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\dataAccess\connectionServer\jdbc\

BOE on a Linux Server:
[BO_INSTALLATION_DIRECTORY]/sap_bobj/enterprise_xi40/dataAccess/connectionServer/jdbc/
Open the following file:

BOE on a Window Server:
[BO_INSTALLATION_DIRECTORY]\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\dataAccess\connectionServer\jdbc\vertica.sbo

BOE on a Linux Server:
[BO_INSTALLATION_DIRECTORY]/sap_bobj/enterprise_xi40/dataAccess/connectionServer/jdbc/ vertica.sbo
Update the driver locations in vertica.sbo as below:

Restart Tomcat and SIA in the Central Configuration Manager:
