The Resource Usage and Utilization Report - Consumer and Resource Usage and Utilization Report have been improved.

The AWS EC2 Instance Report and Showback Detail report were added. For details, see CSA_Demo and CSA CAPs .

Enhancements to the integrations with Amazon Web Services and Amazon Web Service CloudWatch. The data imported from AWS and AWSCW is merged into the integration with Cloud Service Automation (CSA). For details, see CSA_Demo and CSA CAPs .

For details, see Integration with CSA.

Closed Integration with AM

Asset Management helps you to manage your assets across procurement, active lifecycle, and disposals so you can optimize end-to-end asset usage for optimal value and lower costs.

The integration with AM as a data source provides KPIs and Dashboard pages. It is part of the Service Portfolio Management Suite.

For details, see Integration with AM.

The AM and AM_Demo CAPs are also available to accelerate the integration. For details, see AM_Demo and AM CAPs.

Closed Integration with Azure

Azure is Microsoft cloud computing platform, a growing collection of integrated services like analytics, computing, database, mobile, networking, storage, and web, for moving faster, achieving more, and saving money.

  • The data imported from Azure is merged into the integration with Cloud Service Automation (CSA). For details, see Integration with Azure.
  • The CSA and CSA_Demo CAPs are also available to accelerate the integration. For details, see CSA_Demo and CSA CAPs .
  • Closed What If for Objectives

IT Business Analytics provides information regarding the status and values of Objectives, KPIs, or Metrics on the past and current periods in the Dashboard and Explorer tabs. The What-If tab provides a glimpse into the future by forecasting the entity future behavior of the Objective, based on historical data, so you will be able more easily understand the underlying trend and to do all you can now to improve or maintain the desired behavior. In addition, the tab enables you to view the historical, current, and future behavior of the selected Objective.

For details, see Explorer - What-If.

    Closed Integration with SA

Server Automation (SA) enables you to govern the full spectrum of your software management requirements. With SA policy-based software management you can automate software installation and application configuration, and ensure that managed servers are compliant with software policies.

The integration with SA as a data source provides KPIs and Dashboard pages. It is part of the Cloud Management suite.

For details, see Integration with SA.

The SA and SA_Demo CAPs are also available to accelerate the integration. For details, see SA_Demo and SA CAPs.

Closed New extractors for the PostgreSQL and CSV sources

New extractors are provided for the PostgreSQL and CSV sources.

    Closed Usage Hub

HPE Usage Hub gives you the ability to view license information and usage across all your HPE Software products and solutions that use the automatically installed HPE AutoPass licensing module along with the product. Usage Hub runs on a server and can detect all AutoPass-based HPE Software products and solutions installed in your environment. It collects, maintains and provides a centralized view of software deployments, license assets and more. Usage Hub helps you better track product and license usage, gain operational insight, ease the license renewal process, and optimize your license utilization. This is a free tool and can be downloaded here: Usage Hub.

    For details, see .

    Closed Migration

Migration from IT Executive Scorecard 9.50 to IT Business Analytics 10.10 is available. For details, see .

The migration path is from XS 9.5 SP 004 to ITBA 10.10.

You can specify the instance that must be completed before running the current instance in the Content Flow Management feature.

ITBA 10.10 supported data sources are AM, SM, SA, PPM, ALM, CSA, AWS, CO, Azure.

ITBA 10.1 supported internal sources are: mysql, db2, mssql, oracle, postgresql, and csv.

XS 9.50 data sources not supported in ITBA 10.10: ALT, BSM, SE, NA, NNM, OO, UCMDB, IC, DP, HPV, VCM, FPA.

    Closed Integration with CO

Virtual Performance Viewer (vPV) is a web-based analysis and visualization tool that analyzes performance trends of elements in virtualized environments. vPV gives you at-a-glance visibility across your virtual environment for real-time insights into performance, capacity, and health. This helps you to optimize your infrastructure and quickly solve virtualization and cloud performance issues. It enables virtualization monitoring by providing an overview of the environment, near-real-time and historical data analysis and triaging using an interactive dashboard. It also enables monitoring for cloud and hypervisor environments. HPE vPV provides performance monitoring, graphing, and reporting in a single interface.

The data imported from CO is merged into the integration with Cloud Service Automation (CSA). For details, see Integration with CO.

The CSA and CSA_Demo CAPs are also available to accelerate the integration. For details, see CSA_Demo and CSA CAPs .

    Closed Log Toolkit

Installation logs help you quickly understand what went wrong with the installation process. The installation logs are archived by the installation process in many different paths of the installation directory. You can concentrate all the installation logs into one location using the Log Toolkit.

    For details, see Installation Logs.

    Closed CAC

You can now configure Common Access Card (CAC) (Smart Card/PKI Authentication) and use CAC with IT IT Business Analytics.

    For details, see Configure CAC.

    Closed Improved installation

In addition to GUI-based installation and silent installation, IT IT Business Analytics 10.10 offers a console-installation capability. For details, see ..

Closed Alignment with the new Hewlett Packard Enterprise Style and Brand

The IT IT Business Analytics application and documentation have been aligned with the new Hewlett Packard Enterprise style and brand.

    Closed Breakdown by Demand

In some Dashboard page components, you (the end-user) can click the relevant component and select the relevant Breakdown to modify the display on-the-fly.

For details, see Change, On-Demand, the Breakdown Display.

    Closed FIPS

FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standards) are a set of standards that describe document processing, encryption algorithms and other information technology standards for use within non-military government agencies and by government contractors and vendors who work with the agencies.

The integration with ITBA supports Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS).

Note Open JDK does not support Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) mode. To enable FIPS mode for ITBA, use either Oracle JDK.

For details, see FIPS 140-2 Compliance Statement.

    Closed ETL Toolkit

To perform customizations that cannot be performed in the IDE, use the ETL Toolkit: ETL troubleshooting, correcting issues with the ETL steps, cleaning the data of the last ETL run and rerunning the ETL, or uninstalling data sources.

This should only be performed in the development environment.

    For details, see ETL Toolkit.

    Closed DCS Extractor Development Guide

DCS enables you to extract data from a specific data source according to the relevant extraction and source model that is generated by the IDE. It consists of a plugable extractor framework for each data source. The extractor gathers data according to the request it receives from the Content Flow Manager, placing it into a set of relevant .TXT files. Each supported data source has a corresponding extractor (or multiple extractors) that is capable of extracting the relevant data out of the data source. All available extractors for Content Packs use the DCS framework.

    For details, see .

    Closed Dimension Permission

In addition to permissions at the level of a Scorecard or a Page, the administrator can provide permissions at the level of a dimension and its entities (Breakdown and its values). An end-user with such a permission can view data in the Dashboard and Explorer only at the level of the specific Breakdown.

For example: an end-user should be able to view only the results of KPI\Metric Breakdowns for the EMEA location and not from other locations. That end-user should not even have the option to select other locations. In the Dashboard page, after the end-user selects to view the results by Location: EMEA, the entire page is refreshed filtered for the Location:EMEA entity.

For details, see Users and Roles - Dimension Permissions.

    ClosedInstance Completion Trigger

You can specify the instance that must be completed before running the current instance in the Content Flow Management feature.

    For details, see Instance Trigger.
