How to Import SAIs to the Data Flow Probe

This task describes how to import SAI files and then deploy the files to the Data Flow Probe. SAI files can be master delta files that are contained in Content Packs, or files can be User SAIs that are created using the SAI Editor. You can also use SAI files created by third parties.

To import SAIs to the Data Flow Probe:

  1. Prerequisites

    • Ensure that the UCMDB Server is running.

    • Ensure that the Data Flow Probe server is running.

    • Do one of the following:

      • Download a Content Pack from ITOM Marketplace.

      • Ensure that user SAI files are stored on your computer.

  2. Import the SAI files

    Data Flow Management > Software Library, in the SAI Files pane, click and select Import SAI File or Import SAI file from CP. For more information about these options, see SAI Files Pane.

  3. Results

    The Data Flow Probe is updated with the SAI files. To verify this, check the files at C:\UCMDB\DataFlowProbe\runtime\probeManager\discoverySaiResources\saiRuntime.
