Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Getting Started with the Studio and Dashboard
IT Business Analytics is a strategy enabler that enables executives to continuously improve their business by measuring what happened and what is happening, analyzing that information, and planning new strategies using the gathered information. This enables a better strategy execution resulting in a reduction of cost and risk, and an increase in quality and value.

- Learn about how the Dashboard can help the challenges facing end-users. For details, see Learn About IT Business Analytics.
- Make sure the IT Business Analytics settings are configured. For details, see About Settings
- Make sure the IT Business Analytics users and permissions are configured. For details, see Users and Roles - User Management
- Create and activate Scorecards, Perspectives, Objectives, Metrics, and KPIs. For details, see Create the Dashboard Contents in the Studio.
- Enrich the Dashboard contents with Metric Breakdowns and KPIs, overrides, Cascading Scorecards, and more. For details, see Enrich the Dashboard Contents in the Studio.
- Review the out-of-the-box Executive pages, add components to pages, create your own components, or create your own pages. For details, see Dashboard Display.
