Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Prerequisites
Before you start the installation check the following prerequisites.
Set the FQDN on both the ITBA server and the Vertica server:

As root user, update the /etc/hosts file with the server FQDN.
Note If you need to view BO reports and to connect to the BOE server, configure the BOE server IP number and the BOE server FQDN in /etc/hosts.)

Edit:
- The /etc/sysconfig/network file and modify the HOSTNAME=<FQDN> for the Redhat or CentOS systems.
- The /etc/hostname file and add the SERVERNAME for the Ubuntu system.
Example: The FQDNs for ITBA server and Vertica server are:

- Reboot the server.
During the Business Analytics configuration, you are required to enter the application license details.
