Restore category data

User Role: Administrator

To restore category data during a disaster recovery process, follow these steps:

  1. Stop the main server.

  2. Clear the corrupted data on the crashed category server.

    Open the crashed category folder (for example, <Smart Analytics Installation>/IDOL/category), and then remove all folders. See the following screenshot as an example:

  3. Navigate to the category backup folder, and then extract the latest restored file.

  4. Copy the category folder back to <Smart Analytics Installation>/IDOL/category. See the following screenshot as an example:

  5. Start the main server.
