The IDE enables you to permanently delete an entity that is not needed or supported, from the file system. Make sure that no other entity contains any reference to the deleted entity.
Note When you right-click a selected entity and click Delete From Model, the entity is only removed from the current designer and not from the file system.
Permanently delete an entity
To permanently delete an entity:

Delete the relevant entity from the canvas.

In the Package Explorer, expand the content pack that contains the entity you want to delete, for example cp-s

Delete the actual entity, for example POLICY, from the Package Explorer.
