Database dictionary (Dbdict)

  1. Service Management maintains a logical view of your RDBMS tables and columns in the database dictionary. The database dictionary describes each table and column in your system and how they are mapped to logical entities within Service Management.
  2. The Service Management utility used to define the pools of a Service Management file. The Service Management command to open the Database Dictionary (Dbdict) utility is dbdict.

Tip: You can also use the System Definition utility to define fields and keys for a file.
