Enable an Incident Management profile to use templates

Templates help operators to create more complete incident records by populating some fields with applicable data. When templates are available for incident records, profiles can be enabled to allow operators to use a template if the operator is included in the profile.

Note: Whenever a profile is modified, operators with that profile must log out and then log in for the change to take effect.

To enable an incident management profile to use templates:

  1. Click System Administration > Ongoing Maintenance > Profiles > Incident Management Profiles.
  2. Use search or advanced search to find one or more records.
  3. Select the profile you want to modify from the record list.
  4. Select Modify Templates.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Log off and log back on.

Operators with this profile are now able to add and modify templates.
