Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Topics that contain the literal phrase "cat food" and all its grammatical variations. Without the quotation marks, the query is equivalent to specifying an OR operator, which finds topics with one of the individual words instead of the phrase. |

Incident Management categories
Each category record contains fields to define assignment groups for the Category, Open, and Print options and forms that Incident Management associates with the category as well as the triggers for alert levels.
Category | Description |
---|---|
business application | An incident with a large, system-wide application. |
change | An incident that prompts a change request. |
client system | A hardware or software incident with a client system. |
enquiry | A request for information or a question. |
example | Sample category record in the standard HPE Service Manager system that you can copy and rename when you create a new category. |
network | A network incident. |
other | An incident that does not fall into one of the other predefined categories. |
printing | An incident with printers and related accessories, such as hardware, software, and consumables like toner. |
security | An incident with network, system or application security. |
service catalog | A hardware or software incident related to Service Catalog. |
shared infrastructure | An incident with a shared hardware resource. |
tbd | An incident that does not fall into one of the other predefined categories. |
telecoms | An incident with a telephony component, either stationary or mobile. |
