Upgrade the Solr Search Engine

Note The Solr Search Engine has not been updated after the Service Manager 9.51 release. The Service Manager 9.51 Solr Search Engine patch ships with the Service Manager 9.52 release.

To upgrade to Solr Search Engine version 9.51, your must have version 9.50 installed.

The upgrade steps are as follows:

  1. Stop your Solr Search Engine.
  2. Install the Service Manager 9.51 Solr Search Engine patch. For detailed steps, see the "Install the Solr Search Engine 9.51 patch" section in Install the Solr Search Engine.
  3. Make sure that your Service Manager Server and clients have upgraded to version 9.52.
  4. If you are running an applications version earlier than 9.41, load QCCR1E128475_SM950_SM940.unl into Service Manager so that you can enable SSL communications between the Service Manager Server and the Solr Search Engine.
  5. Restart your Solr Search Engine.
  6. Reconfigure your search servers and knowledgebases, and then perform a full re-index of all of your knowledgebases. For details, see Install and configure the Solr Search Engine.
