Hardware Component Summary Report

This report displays data for all the node elements of hardware types detected in the system.

To access

Select Managers > Modeling > Reports. In the Custom Reports pane, do one of the following:

  • Click the Create New Report button and select Hardware Component Summary Report.

  • Under Inventory:

    • Double-click Hardware Component Summary Report.

    • Right-click Hardware Component Summary Report and select Create New Report.

    • Select Hardware Component Summary Report, and drag it onto the right pane.

Important information

The top level of the report displays the number of elements for each device type. Click on a number to drill down to the next layer and view a list of the individual hardware components with detailed data.

The hardware components displayed in the report include CPUs, disk devices, fans, hardware boards, I/O slots, interfaces, memory units, physical ports, power supplies, printers and SCSI adapters.

Use the Select Columns button to select the attributes to display in the report.

UI Element (A-Z) Description
<Breadcrumbs>

Displays the levels through which you have navigated to get to the current level. Appears horizontally across the top of the chart.

Note Each level in the list of breadcrumbs is a clickable link.

<Shortcut Menu> Right-click a CI in the report to access the IT Universe Manager shortcut menu. For details, see IT Universe Manager Shortcut Menu.
<Toolbar> For details, see Report Toolbar Options.
