Node Summary Report

This report displays all the nodes detected in the system and the hardware installed on them.

To access

Select Managers > Modeling > Reports. In the Custom Reports pane, do one of the following:

  • Click the Create New Report button and select Node Summary Report.

  • Under Inventory:

    • Double-click Node Summary Report.

    • Right-click Node Summary Report and select Create New Report.

    • Select Node Summary Report, and drag it onto the right pane.

Important information

If you select one of the grouping options, the top level of the report displays the number of nodes for each group. Click on the number of nodes to drill down to the next layer and view data for those nodes. If you selected None as the grouping option, all the nodes appear in the top layer.

The second layer also contains some summary columns with numbers that are clickable links (for example, Disk Devices displays the number of disk devices for each node). Click the number to drill down to the next layer and view detailed data.

In any layer, you can use the Select Columns button to select the attributes to display in the report.

<Breadcrumbs>

Displays the levels through which you have navigated to get to the current level. Appears horizontally across the top of the chart.

Note Each level in the list of breadcrumbs is a clickable link.

<Shortcut Menu> Right-click a CI in the report to access the IT Universe Manager shortcut menu. For details, see IT Universe Manager Shortcut Menu.
<Toolbar> For details, see Report Toolbar Options.
Group By

Select the method for displaying the data. The available options are:

  • None
  • Location
  • OS Family
