VMware Virtual Center Report

This report displays information about Virtual Centers, which manage the physical servers (VM hosts) and the virtual machines (VMs) they are running as a single, logical pool of resources.

To access

Select Managers > Modeling > Reports. In the Custom Reports pane, do one of the following:

  • Right-click VMware Virtual Center Report and select Create New Report.

  • Click the Create New Report button and select VMware Virtual Center Report.

  • Double-click VMware Virtual Center Report.

  • Select VMware Virtual Center Report and drag it onto the right pane.

Important information

The top level of the report displays information on the Virtual Centers. Click the number in the VMware Host Count column to drill down to the next layer, which displays information on each of the VMware hosts in that Virtual Center.

In the second layer, you can click the number in the VM Count column to drill down to the next layer and view detailed information about all of that host's VMware virtual machines.

Use the Select Columns button to select the attributes to display in the report.

<Breadcrumbs>

Displays the levels through which you have navigated to get to the current level. Appears horizontally across the top of the chart.

Note Each level in the list of breadcrumbs is a clickable link.

<Shortcut Menu> Right-click a CI in the report to access the IT Universe Manager shortcut menu. For details, see IT Universe Manager Shortcut Menu.
