When a process starts, it initially enters into a stabilization state, for the time period defined by Failover Stabilization Time. When this period ends, if the process is able to update its alive status, it can act as the backup for its peer process; otherwise the process re-enters stabilization state. Other than during startup, a process enters this state if the HAC checks for failed processes (every Monitor Failures Interval) and finds that a process did not update its alive status within the Normal Keep Alive Period.

Save custom images in the directory that maps to the URL /topaz.

The /topaz URL is mapped to the following directory on the server:
Windows: HPBSM\AppServer\webapps\site.war\
Linux: /opt/HP/BSM/AppServer/webapps/site.war/

Access the images folder and place your logo there to add them in OMi with the URL http(s)://<myMachineName>.<myMachineDomain>/topaz/images/<custom_logo>.

ClosedUse SSL/TLS

Use SSL/TLS when notifying recipients via e-mail. You can either use a wrapped TLS connection in order to connect to a secure SMTP server (port 465), or you can use the connection upgrading via starttls (port 587 or 25). To find out which option to use, review your mail server settings.

When using TLS, make sure to import the corresponding certificates to OMi.
