Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Preparing to launch Service Manager Mobile Applications on your smartphone
To prepare for launching Service Manager Mobile Applications on your smartphone, make sure:

Your touchscreen smartphone meets the requirements that are described in the Service Manager Support Matrix. For details, see Support Matrices.

Your smartphone browser conforms to the following configurations:
- Cookies are enabled.
- JavaScript is enabled.
- Pop-ups are enabled. At a minimum, add the Service Manager Mobile Applications host name to the pop-up exception list.

Your System Administrator has provided you with the web URL needed to access the Service Manager server from the Mobile Applications.
Power user view: http://<servername>:<portnumber>/<appname>/std/ (/std/ can be omitted)
Self-service user view: http://<servername>:<portnumber>/<appname>/ess/ (/ess/ cannot be omitted)
- You have a valid Service Manager username and password.
