Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Apply operating system patches or hardware updates
The operating system (OS) administrator is responsible for applying OS patches.
The application of an OS patch may require a restart of the server. Because of that, there are some considerations regarding the Service Manager systems.
If Service Manager is installed as a horizontally scaled environment, it may be shut down on a host for maintenance, while it is still accessible on other hosts. The only requirement is to not shut down all hosts concurrently, which keep the JGroups cluster of the Service Manager servlets running.
