Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Suggested upgrade order
For existing implementations, the following upgrade order is recommended:
- Upgrade your RDBMS if needed.
- If you are on a version earlier than 9.60, install the Service Manager 9.60 Server without loading the applications and demonstration data, and restore your old server configurations. For details, see Upgrade the Service Manager Server.
- Install the Service Manager 9.60 Windows Client and restore your old configurations. For details, see Upgrade the Windows Client.
- Install the Service Manager 9.60 Web Tier, and restore your old configurations. For details, see Upgrade the Web Tier.

(Recommended) Upgrade your applications to version 9.60. For more information, see Upgrade the applications from a version earlier than 9.60according to your existing applications version.
Tip While it is possible to upgrade only the Service Manager Server and Clients to the new version, many of the new features are not supported by the old applications. To get the benefit of all the new features, you must upgrade to the latest Service Manager applications as well.
