Startup parameter: ntservice

Startup parameters change the behavior of the Service Manager server. You can always set a startup parameter from the server's operating system command prompt.




This parameter defines the name of the Windows service you want to run Service Manager. You can set this parameter from the Configure server utility.

Initialization file (sm.ini)

Configure server utility

Requires restart of the Service Manager server?

Name of the Windows service

Example usage

Command line: sm -httpPort:13080 -ntservice: Service Manager server

Initialization file: ntservice: Service Manager server
