Shut down Service Manager

To shut down a Service Manager system, do one of the following:

  • Stop Windows service “Micro Focus Service Manager <version> Server” on Windows
  • Execute the smstop script on Unix systems

Alternatively, you can also use the shutdown commands to shutdown the complete Service Manager system, a group of servers, all servlets running on a host, or single servlets identified by process id.

sm -shutdown [-group:<group>][-host:<host>][-pid:<pid>]
