Add a KM security profile

User role: System Administrator, KMAdmin

Published documents are documents that are available for searching and viewing. Some documents may only be viewed by internal users, while others can be viewed by internal and external users. Published documents can be edited by users with the Edit in place a published document option selected for their KM security profile.

To add a KM security profile, follow these steps:

  1. Click Knowledge Management > Administration > Profiles.
  2. Type the name of the new profile in Profile Name.
  3. Select the applicable check boxes on each of the security profile tabs. For example, go to the KCS II tab to select the Edit in place a published document option.
  4. Click Add.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Click OK.
