Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Set Windows client preferences from the server
You must have administrative access to the server operating system to use this procedure.
To set Windows client preferences from the server:
- Review the list of client parameters for Windows clients and determine which parameters you want to define from the server.
- Open the sm.ini file in a text editor.
This file is located in the RUN folder of your Service Manager server installation. - Add or edit the client parameters for Windows clients.
- Save the file.
All Windows clients that log in to the Service Manager server use the new client parameters you defined.
