Use the new CTI method

You are recommended to use the new Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) method instead of the legacy one, for the following reasons:

  • The new method uses native HTML and JavaScript instead of the CTI applet, and therefore eliminates the dependency on your browser's ability to support Java applet technology.
  • The new method can automate not only the creation and update of interactions and incidents, but also the action of a toolbar button or a More menu option in an active record detail form.
