Startup parameter: cache_slots

Startup parameters change the behavior of the HPE Service Manager server. You can always set a startup parameter from the server's operating system command prompt.

This parameter defines the number of hash slots the HPE Service Manager server allocates to the cache table. You can use the reportcache parameter to gauge the effectiveness of your cache allocation.

Note If this parameter is not set or set to be greater than 100,000 or less than 300, the default value (9973) is used; if it is set to a non-prime number, the smaller one of its neighboring prime numbers is used instead.
