Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Use the equal to relational operator
Applies to User Roles:
System Administrator
Example: Retrieve all device records where the value of the Location field is equal to DEFAULT HQ.
In this example, we execute an equal to (=) search from the device form and then displays a record list containing all exact matches.
To use the equal to relational operator:
- Click Tailoring > Database Manager.
- Type
=devicein the Form field. - Click Search.
- Type
=DEFAULT HQin the Location field on the device form. - Click Find.
- Click any record to view the details.
Note: A device is also referred to as an Asset or Configuration Item (CI).
