Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Configure LW-SSO in Release Control
Applies to User Roles:
System Administrator
Note You must have administrative access to Release Control (RC) to use this procedure. This procedure is optional but highly recommended for using the RC integration.
To configure LW-SSO in Release Control:

Create an RC user that has the same account name and password used to log on to Service Manager.
- Log on to RC as a system administrator, and click Module > Administrator.
- Click Users.
- Click the New User icon.
- Provide information of the user account, for example, falcon.
- Click OK.
- Log on to RC as a system administrator, and click Module > Adminstrator > Configuration > Server.
- In the Server name field, enter the FQDN of the Release Control Server host. For example, myrchost.domain.microfocus.net.
- In the Server address field, enter the server address of Release Control. For example, http://myrchost.domain.microfocus.net:8080/ccm.
- Provide values for other fields if necessary.
- Click the Save button in the left pane to save the draft.
- Click Security > Lightweight SSO (LWSSO).

Provide values for the following fields:
- Domain: Domain name of the Release Control server host.
- Initialization string: Should be the same with the initString value specified in the Service Manager LW-SSO configuration (minimum length: 12 characters). For example: smintegrationlwsso.
- Protected domains: Enter the domain name of the Service Manager Web tier server. For example, if your Web tier's fully qualified domain name is mywebtier.domain.microfocus.com, then the domain portion is domain.microfocus.com.
- Click the Save button in the left pane and then click Activate draft.
- Restart the Release Control service so that your configurations take effect.
