Specify manual repetition

Applies to User Roles:

System Administrator

Use manual repetition when your demand based task does not fit into quiescent or incremental repetition categories.

To specify manual repetition:

  1. Click System Administration > Base System Configuration > Scheduled Maintenance > Scheduled Maintenance Tasks.
  2. Follow the procedure for setting the demand criteria for a task, as described in the related topics.
  3. From the Determine when to run next by: field, select Do Not Run Again.

This task runs once when conditions satisfy the trigger criteria. The task remains inactive until you activate it manually . You can use this model for one-time maintenance events or tasks that require human intervention to recalculate the trigger conditions.
