Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Set a reminder for a request task
Security Roles: Request Coordinator, Request Analyst
You can set a reminder to notify you if an existing request task record meets certain conditions by a specified time. For example, you may want to be reminded if a request task is still open or is not updated by a given date.
To set a reminder for a request task, follow these steps:
- Click Request Fulfillment > Search Request Tasks, enter your search criteria, and then click Search.
- Open the request task record to which you want to set a reminder.
- Click More, and then select Set Reminder.

Do one of the following to set the time when the reminder occurs:

Click Remind At to set a reminder for a particular day and time.
Tip Click Fill to display a calendar where you can select the date and time for the reminder.
- Click Remind In to set the reminder to occur at a particular interval. If you choose this option, specify the time interval (in 00:00:00 format), and select a shift from the Based On list.

In the Remind if field, select a condition for the reminder to occur:

Always. (the default value)

Request task has not been updated.

Request task is still open.

Request task is still assigned to me.

- In the Pop-up Message area of the form, select the type of notification you want to receive.
- If you select Pop-up, type the reminder message in the Message field that you want to appear in the reminder.

If you select Email or SM Mail, follow these steps:
- Type a title for the mail in the Title field.
- Select the type of mail message s in the Message Type area:
- Click Send Request Task Record to include a copy of the request task record in the email.
- Click Fixed Text, and then type the message you want to appear in the email.
- Click OK.
