Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Accessing SM CI information in UCMDB
When integrated with UCMDB and UCMDB Browser, Service Manager (SM) enables SM users to view CI information in UCMDB or UCMDB Browser.
When integrated with UCMDB, Service Manager displays a View in UCMDB button in a CI record that also exists in UCMDB. If Service Manager is also integrated with UCMDB Browser, a View in UCMDB Browser button is displayed instead.
If you click either button, you are prompted to enter a UCMDB user name and password to open UCMDB or UCMDB Browser in the context of the current CI.
