Searching the Help
To search for information in the Help, type a word or phrase in the Search box. When you enter a group of words, OR is inferred. You can use Boolean operators to refine your search.
Results returned are case insensitive. However, results ranking takes case into account and assigns higher scores to case matches. Therefore, a search for "cats" followed by a search for "Cats" would return the same number of Help topics, but the order in which the topics are listed would be different.

Expand a node group to view individual configuration items (CIs)
User roles: Configuration Manager, Configuration Administrator, Configuration Auditor, Change Manager, Change Coordinator, Incident Manager, Incident Analyst, Incident Coordinator
You can view individual configuration items (CIs) in any folder grouping in a visualization diagram by expanding the node.
To expand a node group to view individual CIs, follow these steps:
- Launch CI Visualization from the Configuration Management, Change Management, or Incident Management module.

Click one time on a node grouping or folder inside of the CI Visualization diagram, and then select Expand Group. A list of CIs opens.
- Press and hold the ctrl button, and then click each item to select one or more CIs from the list.
- Click Next. The graph is updated to show the extracted CIs.
