Startup parameter: system

Startup parameters change the behavior of the Service Manager server. You can always set a startup parameter from the server's operating system command prompt.

Description

This parameter defines a numerical identifier for the Service Manager system that becomes part of the unique identifer in a horizontal scaling implementation. This parameter is typically set to the communications port that the Service Manager server uses. You can set this parameter from the Configure server utility.
