Requesting services

The Service Catalog self-service interface serves as a single point of entry to request any service provided by IT. Subscribers utilize the following features when using the request interface.

Feature Description
Subscriptions Service subscriptions track the relationship between IT customers and the services they use.
Choosing a subscription mode Service Manager offers two modes of support for requesting service subscriptions: Service Catalog requesting and direct request with Change Management fulfillment.
Define a department requestor for subscriptions You can define and manage the list of users that are allowed to request services for the department subscribed to the service.
Service Catalogs Users can browse for services in the Service Catalog.
Make a request for multiple recipients You can request a service for a department.
Request a service catalog item or bundle You can request a service for an individual.
