Define which services are available for a subscription

System Administrator

In the Change Management subscription model, users can only subscribe to business services for which you have explicitly allowed subscriptions. If you are using the Service Catalog subscription model, you manage subscriptions by adding or removing business services from the catalog.

To define which services are available for a subscription, follow these steps:

  1. Click Configuration Management > Resources > Search CIs.
  2. Use search or advanced search to find one or more records. In the Type field list, select Business Service.
  3. Select the Business Service definition record for the service to which you want to allow user subscriptions.
  4. Check the Allow Subscriptions check box. Users can now subscribe to this service.

  5. Click Save.
