A single word	`cat`	Topics that contain the word "cat". You will also find its grammatical variations, such as "cats".
A phrase. You can specify that the search results contain a specific phrase.	`"cat food"` (quotation marks)	Topics that contain the literal phrase "cat food" and all its grammatical variations. Without the quotation marks, the query is equivalent to specifying an OR operator, which finds topics with one of the individual words instead of the phrase.

Switching to the nms-auth-config.xml File

If you want to move NNMi's LDAP configuration to the nms-auth-config.xmlfile from the ldap.properties file, follow these steps:

Tip The nms-auth-config.xml file enables you to configure multiple LDAP servers with NNMi. With the ldap.properties file, you cannot configure more than one LDAP server with NNMi.

The ldap.properties file is now deprecated.

Take a backup of the existing ldap.properties file. You can use this copy of the file as a reference while completing the following tasks.
Complete the tasks listed in Configuring NNMi to Access a Directory Service

Follow the steps highlighted for the nms-auth-config.xml file in this section.
Run the following command:
- Windows:%nnminstalldir%\bin\nnmldap.ovpl -reload
- Linux:$NnmInstallDir/bin/nnmldap.ovpl -reload
